HMPE synthetic ropes
Over the past decades the emphasis on high performance ropes have grown due to safety reasons, economic aspects and environmental benefits.
The US Marine has been using Aramid made mooring ropes for years, highlighting the believe in the technical proporties of Aramid.
Nylon mooring rope
Nylon was the world’s first true synthetic textile fibre. Our Nylon mooring rope can be used for all purposes and are produced according to the latest EN and ISO standards. It combines high (dry) strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Its high elasticity makes the rope very suitable as a mooring tail.
Polypropylene rope
This rope is an improved, high-strength alternative for Polypropylene. Our PP/PE melt mix features higher breaking load and better abrasion resistance compared to regular Polypropylene. Our mooring ropes have a lower weight, floats and does not absorb water, making it easier to handle and ensuring a longer lifespan and an economical purchase.
Fibre ropes
HMPE (High-modulus polyethylene) fibres are produced by gel-spinning ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene synthetic ropes (UHMWPE).Its better handling characteristics, buoyancy and increased safety (no lash back) are especially appreciated in towing and mooring applications.
Steel wire ropes
Steel Wire ropes play an important role in deep-sea towing. As operating conditions and vessel size can vary widely, it is critical to select a suitable wire rope to warrant a safe and efficient passage. For steel wire ropes maintenance, we use lubricants.
Polyester ropes
A special marine finish is applied to further increase its wear resistance in the marine environment. Its excellent fatigue characteristics and abrasion resistance, combined with very high strength and smaller diameter, makes it the preferred polyester rope for many ship owners and ship managers.
Maandelijkse roundup
Composite rope of high tenacity polyolefin and high performance polyester rope. The rope offers good abrasion resistance and high strength at a very economical price. Its buoyancy and excellent handling properties make it the ideal mooring ropes for all types of ships.
Mooring line nylon
6 strand cross-laid nylon rope, whereby mono- and multifilaments are combined in the strands. The monofilaments give the rope excellent abrasion resistance and dimensional stability, resulting in an excellent behaviour on the winch drum. Its robust construction maintains shape under extreme tension. The mooring line is easier to handle than wire and easy to splice.
Composite mooring rope
Composite rope of high tenacity polyolefin and high performance polyester. A special marine finish is applied to further increase the wear resistance in a marine environment. The rope offers very good abrasion resistance and very high strength. Its buoyancy and excellent handling properties make it the ideal composite mooring rope for all types of ships.
Winchline
Floating line especially designed for use on (single drum) self-tensioning mooring winches. Non-load bearing cover is made of HMPE yarns giving the rope a very high abrasion resistance. Minimized risk of snap back.
Http ropes for mooring
Our PP/PE melt mix features higher breaking load and better abrasion resistance compared to regular Polypropylene. Our HTPP rope has a lower weight, floats and does not absorb water, making it easier to handle and ensuring a longer lifespan and an economical purchase.
HMPE fibre rope
HMPE fibre rope. The strength is higher than that of conventional steel wire rope and the corresponding weight is up to 7 times lower. Its better handling characteristics, buoyancy and increased safety (no lash back) are especially appreciated in towing and mooring applications.
